Subject: Can you help New Rochelle kids? (1 minute) Hi, I want to tell you about something I care about. The Eco-Ambassadors program gets New Rochelle teens out on the Long Island Sound every summer. They study the water, get paid for their work, and teach their neighbors. The state awarded money to fix up the old pavilion at Five Islands Park and turn it into a coastal education center for schoolkids and families. Right now that pavilion is closed and fenced off. Red tape is holding it up. On September 30, the state said the grant is at risk. We need the City to step up and get it done. Can you take a minute to read about it, share it, and tell the City you care? https://fiveislands.pages.dev Thank you!

Subject: Please save the Five Islands Coastal Education Center Dear Mayor and City Council members, My name is [your name] and I live in [your neighborhood]. Please save the Eco-Ambassadors and the Coastal Education Center at Five Islands Park. Eco-Ambassadors has been a vibrant partnership with the City. Together we won a state grant to turn the Five Islands pavilion into a Coastal Education Center for our kids. Now red tape is holding it up, and on September 30 the state said the grant is at risk. Please give this the focused attention it needs and get the agreement done. Thank you for supporting this plan in 2025. I hope you will see it through. Sincerely, [your name]
